Florida Municipal Electric Association : ウィキペディア英語版 | Florida Municipal Electric Association
The Florida Municipal Electric Association (FMEA) is the trade association for Florida’s 34 public power communities. FMEA represents the unified interests of their members through government relations, communications, news and information, and education and training. Based in Tallahassee, FMEA began in 1942 in response to WWII fuel shortages. Together FMEA’s member utilities now serve 3 million Floridians- and are the third largest source of power in the state. These utilities are community-owned and locally managed. FMEA’s membership categories, along with the 34 municipal electric utility members, also include associate member companies, affiliates, and public agencies. ==Member utilities==
